Our 2-hour surf lessons include essential equipment, ocean safety instruction and Dry Surf training before entering the water. Whether you’re catching your first wave or improving your technique, our goal is to help you progress with confidence and enjoy every moment in the ocean.

Every surf lesson at Famara Surf Academy takes place at Famara Beach, on the northwest coast of Lanzarote. With its long sandy shoreline and different surfing areas, Famara offers opportunities to learn and improve your surfing skills when conditions are suitable.
Ocean conditions change throughout the day, so our local instructors assess the waves, tides and wind before choosing the most appropriate area for each session.
Whether you’re catching your first wave or working on your surfing technique, we adapt our coaching to your experience and the conditions on the day, with a focus on safety, confidence and progression.
